Today, the Government of Canada announced that we would designate January 29 as the National Day of Remembrance of the Quebec City Mosque Attack and Action Against Islamophobia.

While we can’t erase the unspeakable tragedy faced by the victims, their loved ones, and the Muslim communities, it is our collective responsibility to ensure that this event is never forgotten. This day will be another step forward in our fight against Islamophobia and in our efforts to build a consciously more inclusive Canada. ow.ly/OY2Y50DlfBd
