BLACK HISTORY MONTH 2021

Every February, Black Heritage Months provides a special opportunity to honour the legacy and achievements of Black Canadians who have helped shape our country, to celebrate their immense contributions, and recognize their resilience and strength. This is also an important opportunity to learn more about the systemic barriers and inequalities facing Black communities and many visible minorities. Our government has pledged to address anti-Black and systemic racism in a way that’s informed by the lived experiences of Black Canadians. Together, we can work towards a fairer, more inclusive Canada
