Making sure pollution isn’t free and putting more money in the pockets of the majority of families through the Climate Action Incentive rebate is an essential part of our comprehensive climate plan. Today, the price on pollution will increase by $10 per tonne – as has been the case every year since it was implemented. As the price continues to increase, so too will the rebates. This year a family of four in Ontario will receive $600 back when they file their taxes.
