April 24th is Armenian Genocide Memorial Day; a day for Canadians to properly recognize this historical atrocity, show solidarity with our Armenian community, and ensure such acts never happen again.
This year marks 106 years of commemoration.
Let us honour the memory of the victims that lost their lives and suffered during the genocide.
Let us pay our respects to them and their descendants, many of whom reside here in the Kitchener South – Hespeler.
