With cases rising across the country, and lockdowns happening in several places, I want to make one thing clear: we’re going to continue doing whatever it takes, for as long as it takes, to keep you safe and supported. For a quick rundown of the help that’s available for you and your family, take a minute and read this post:

👉 If you’re directly affected by COVID-19 but are self-employed or don’t qualify for Employment Insurance, we’ve created the Canada Recovery Benefit for you. If you’re not able to work because you’re sick or need to self-isolate due to COVID-19, there’s the Canada Recovery Sickness Benefit. Or, if you can’t work because you’re taking care of a loved one, you could be eligible for the Canada Recovery Caregiving Benefit. 👉 If you’re a small business owner, there’s also help available for you. There’s the Canada Emergency Rent Subsidy, which could cover up to 65% of your rent. If your community is in lockdown, that could be boosted up to 90% with the Lockdown Support that’s available. There’s also the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy to help you keep your employees on the payroll, as well as the Canada Emergency Business Account, which offers interest-free loans of up to $60,000.
