Our government is committed to making retirement more affordable. We will issue a one-time $500 payment to seniors aged 75+ in August 2021. And in July 2022, we’re increasing Old Age Security 10% for seniors aged 75+, supporting 3.3 million seniors.
Older seniors have different needs. As seniors age, their health and home care costs rise, all while they are more likely to be unable to work, have disabilities or be widowed. We are helping address the pressures faced by older seniors and improve their quality of life.
